PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE

The first step into the exciting world of aviation!

1. AIM OF COURSE

The PPL (A) course will give the candidate the required theoretical knowledge and flying skills that on successful completion of the course the candidate will be capable of passing the PPL (A) skill test.


2. PRE-COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Before being accepted for training a candidate shall be informed that the appropriate medical certificate must be obtained before solo flying is permitted.

A candidate shall not apply for a PPL until at least 17 years of age.

A candidate shall not carry out a first solo flight until at least 16 years of age.

3. COURSE STRUCTURE AND DURATION

The course is designed for candidates who want to obtain a PPL (A).

The training for the PPL (A) shall comprise at least 45 hours of flight instruction and 100 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction. The duration of the course will be approximately 6 weeks.

What is included:​

  • Total flying: 45 hours

  • Dual flying: 25-35 hours

  • Solo flying: 10 hours

  • R/T Practical Exam

  • Ground school and 9 multiple-choice examinations

  • Fuel
