1. AIM OF COURSE

The objective of the course is to give the candidate a sound theoretical knowledge of Pilatus PC12 SET operations, and to teach the skills necessary for the safe and competent operation of such aircraft.


2. PRE-COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Before being permitted to begin the approved course of training the candidate should have the appropriate pre-course entry requirement as detailed below:

  • Hold at least a PPL(A) or a pilot licence accepted in accordance with Part FCL;

  • Be at least 17 years of age;

  • Hold a valid class 1 or 2 medical certificate;

  • Hold at least a valid ELP at level 4.

3. COURSE STRUCTURE AND DURATION

The course is designed for those candidates who wish to fly a Pilatus PC12 SET. The Pilatus PC12 SET training shall comprise 5 hours of flight instruction and 5 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction. There is also a requirement to successfully complete a written examination which has a pass mark of 75%.


On completion of this training, the HT shall certify that the candidate has completed the course satisfactorily. The duration of the course will be approximately 3-5 days.
